One of the youngest – if not the youngest – artist in the festival is Olivia Bezzet. At only 21, Olivia has already made a name for herself with art featuring drawings (she uses coloured pencils) of animals with surreal twists. Olivia is from Auckland.

Artist  Rob  McGregor’s colourful and vibrant images inspire and excite. Coastal scenes, barbeques, marinas, cafés, nudes and jazz players populate his colourful Cezanne-like landscapes and reflect his positivity. Art is a passion. Before taking up art full-time , Rob  was a Ministry of Education art and design advisor and a proponent of creativity in education. Rob has developed numerous art courses and presented many inspiring papers and workshops at international conferences. 

*Artist at Festival Hub Bloom in the Bay

Clive Armstrong’s distinctive sculptural works are cleverly crafted from recycled steel. He is inspired by his life experiences and has explored many themes through his art making. Growing up on a farm, his years as a ‘roadie’ and lighting technician in his younger years and time spent exploring the wilds of New Zealand have inspired works often described as quirky with a comical twist.
