David and Nina Henderson’s garden is an oasis hidden amongst the hustle and bustle of suburban life. Here the focus is on sustainability, shelter for native birds and insects and producing food for the whole family. The garden offers a variety of tropical plants, native and fruit trees, vegetable gardens and a huge Pohutukawa tree to sit under on long hot summer days. All of this is complemented with a large bright mural on the garden wall. David will be showcasing his work in the garden.
