Tirohonga

Tirohonga is a large and informal country garden. Expansive lawns slope down to the Tauranga harbour.
The “House gardens”are framed by several mature trees. Dogwoods feature strongly in this garden. Here you will also find rhododendrons, salvia ,lime- light, hydrangeas and much more.

This garden featured in NZ House & Garden magazine.

This vibrant space is lovingly nurtured by our students and PiPS staff, featuring a flourishing organic food garden where kids get hands-on experience from sowing seeds to saving them. We embrace no-dig principles to focus on soil health and biodiversity.

🌼 Visit Coastal Cups, our school coffee shop, open from 9 AM to 12 PM daily, for delicious coffee and smoothies. Our kaimanawa (learners) are excited to share their garden and art with you! During school hours, they’ll be your guides, showing off their hard work and sharing stories. Outside school hours, you can follow QR codes to explore their gardening adventures and upcoming projects.

Come along and see how our kids are growing their world—one plant at a time! 🌸

The fire is on, and @thesaunaproject_papamoa is hot and ready for you here at Bloom in the Bay on The Strand when we open at 9.30am! 🙌

Bring your togs and a towel, jump in the sauna, cool off with a refreshing dip, or take a swim in the harbour!

We’ve got delicious food on-site, live music, talks, workshops, and sooooo much more! 🥰

Bloom in the Bay is just $5 at the gate. Parking in the CBD is free, and children under 14 get in for free too! If you have a Festival Pass, you can come and go from Bloom as much as you like.
