Bay of Plenty Garden and Art Festival

Garden & Art Trail

The Towersey Garden

Behold a large park-like garden of more than half a hectare, on a sloping section with mature trees, two large ponds and an abundance of birdlife. This garden, which has featured in NZ Gardener magazine, also includes borders of herbaceous perennials, roses and other flowers for picking. Many plants are self-propagated or hail from grandparents’ or friends’ gardens, so nearly all the plants tell a story. It is a memory garden in a peaceful setting brimful with beauty.

Special Interest: Embroidery, Sewing craft and hand-stitched Christmas decorations created by Bronwyn on display and for sale. Cash Only.
