Bay of Plenty Garden and Art Festival

Garden & Art Trail

Brinny Lane

The owners of this country garden have dedicated over a decade to transforming it into a stunning landscape. What was once empty space now boasts organized color-themed areas adorned with various trees, hedges, and plants. The vibrant hues of nearly 300 roses, including heritage and cut varieties, grace fences and other spots. Besides these, there are vegetable and orchard sections and a driveway lined with hydrangeas. The panoramic views stretching across the valley to Mayor Island are complemented by two friendly donkeys adding to the garden’s allure. Additionally, in the gully, Brian has planted native species to attract birds, and he’s created pathways for guests who enjoy exploring with suitable footwear and a moderate level of fitness.
