At the end of the field at Arataki School lies a busy world of gardening, where young gardeners discover worms and butterflies, colourful wildflowers and hidden edible treasures. In their garden world, they learn to make compost, worm farms, bean tipis and insect hotels as well as sowing and tending to vegetables and fruit trees and feasting on their harvest. We are excited to share this space, and will also have a display of artwork from students, who will be eager to show you around.
